So, I was called away at the last moment to a conference this Tuesday here in beautiful Kansas City MO. I brought my bike, since my great buddy and bro-in-law Scott lives here in Lee's Summit and the Bike Shack ride leaves from the hood every Wed. evening at 6 pm and I was not bound to miss it.
Man what a great ride. Hard, rolling terrain, it turned into a hammerfest within about 15 minutes into the ride. I really didn't know anyone there, but Scott got a flat and at least 5 people told me that he had a flat while I was waiting for him. I really thought that was cool. I mean, they didn't even know me, but knew that I was his friend/brother in law and
