I went out and did this wonderful event this evening. Not only was it the first time I've actually ridden my bike at all hard since mid August, I also drank a beer during the race!! And, somehow in great Halloween logic, I "won"! I don't know how in God's name they were scoring this thing, but maybe they saw me drinking a beer during the race and that got me extra points? Perhaps the beard that Aaro gave me a nice discount on gave me magical powers.
Anyway, that's the first race I've "won" since that ride near Kirksville when I dropped Michael on Connelsville climb last year. No wait, didn't I "win" the Kirksville century ride sprint this year, too?
Anyway I wanted to thank greenbeans and Butthead for putting on a first class Halloween event. You guys rock. That was really fun.
